ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED AT MARIKINA CITY

The Marikina City Police Stations Follow-up team led by SP03 Ramel Soriano arrested one Alvin Hernandez y Ramos, a.k.a. Alvin Tolentino 29 years old, residing at Minahan Interior, Brgy. Malanday, Marikina City for Robbery on February 18, 2012 at Malanday, Marikina City.

Investigation disclosed that suspect Hernandez and his cohort unlawfully entered a residence owned by a Registered Doctor at Sampaguita Village, Malanday, Marikina City while the housekeepers are busy on their household tasks. Hernandez wearing half faced helmet poked a hand gun to the family driver and held him with other housekeepers in one room and subsequently directed them to lay down facing the ground while the other suspect divested valuable belongings found inside the house.

MARIKINA CITY CHIEF OF POLICE TOPPED HOPE AWARDS

Marikina City Police Station Chief of Police, POLICE SENIOR SUPERINTENDENT GABRIEL C LOPEZ together with POLICE SENIOR INSPECTOR EDUARDO J GILLERA topped the Junior Chamber International –Manila (JCI Manila or Manila Jaycees) and Basilio Group search for the Honourable Outstanding Police Enforcer (HOPE) Awards for Police Commissioned Officers-Administrative and Operation category respectively on February 06, 2012 at NCRPO Grandstand, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan Taguig City during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony.

RIDING IN TANDEM SUSPECTS NETTED AT MARIKINA CITY

The investigation and Detection Management Section of Marikina City Police Station Personnel PO3 Pepito Valdez and company nabbed suspect James Toledo y Fortaleza, 28 years old, married, residing at Bautista Street, Concepcion Uno after being involved in a two (2) times Robbery Hold-Up, Robbery Snatching and Violation of PD 1866 on February 2, 2012 at Marikina City.

The incident transpired at High Ace Lumber along JP Rizal Street, Nangka Marikina City, wherein four (4) suspects pretended to be customers robbed and divested the cash earning of the store amounting to Php 7,000.00 and wallet of the owner containing Php 5,000.00. The suspects immediately escaped with two (2) motorcycles as getaway vehicles and rode in tandem in diverse directions.

Sagad,Pasig City on January 30, 2012 at 7:30PM for Illegal Possession of Prohibited Drugs.

PASIG POLICE ARRESTS GUN-RUNNER

The combined elements of Pasig Police Station Intelligence Branch (SIB) and Station Anti-Illegal Drugs-Special Operations Task Group (SAID-SOTG) led by POLICE CHIEF INSPECTOR JOEL Q QUINTERO conducted an operation against the proliferation and of sales of illegal firearms at Villa Eusebio, San Miguel, Pasig City on January 1, 2012 at 8:00 PM which resulted to the arrest of Romeo Bisenio y Sangat aka Unyok, 33 years old, single, tricycle driver and a resident of Jasmin St., Villa Eusebio, San Miguel, Pasig City for Illegal Possession of Firearm and Prohibited Drugs.

HIGH EXPLOSIVE GRENADES FOUND IN PASIG CITY CONDOMINIUM The Pasig City Police Stations’ Explosives Ordnance Detection Unit (EODU) led by SPO1 Andrew Mendres and two (2) members recovered High Explosive 40mm grenade in a package which was found at Villa Regina Condominium, Brgy. Bambang, Pasig City on January 31, 2012 at 6:38 AM.

BUSTING OF CRIMINAL DRUG GANG OPERATION IN PASIG CITY AND MARIKINA CITY

Multiple cases of Attempted Homicide, Carnapping, Illegal possession of firearms and Violation of Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 also known as RA 9165 were filed against members of the Robert Paguia Group on January 30, 2012 before Pasig City Prosecutors Office after the District Anti-illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Group (DAID-SOTG) of Eastern Police District headed by Police Superintendent Elmer R Cereno in cooperation with Pasig City Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation on January 26, 2012 at around 7:22 pm along Agoho St. Octagon Village, Barangay, Dela Paz Pasig City.

Three Foreign Nationals Arrested During Drug Buy Bust Operation

A joint buy bust operation was conducted by the Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (AID-SOTF) led by PSUPT ISMAEL FAJARDO and the San Juan City Police Station led by PSSUPT RAINIER ESPINA, Chief of Police, which resulted in the arrest of three (3) Foreign Nationals in front of Pagkakaisa Development Center along Wilson St., Greenhills San Juan City on January 29, 2012 at 2:30 PM.

EPD Secures Global Conference at EDSA Shangri-la Hotel

Eastern Police District (EPD) provided full security coverage and public safety services in the recently conducted Global Conference on Land-Based Connections and the 3rd Inter-governmental Review of the Global Programme of Action spearheaded by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) being held at the EDSA Shangri-la Hotel, Mandaluyong City from January 23-27, 2012.
